Delightful experience. I had a gathering of 25 people plus kids, the owners are so accommodating. The place is spacious and we didn’t have to squeeze unlike other places we’ve been to. The food is delicious, not one complain from anyone on their meal. This will be the FIRST place i would think of for any of my other gatherings. Thank you!
Came on a weekday, restaurant wasn't busy, but waited 40-45 min for food if not more. Kitchen seems dysfunctional. Food was trickling out slowly not just for us but other tables. Food was decent after it finally came. But couldnt make up for poor service. We were served something extra by mistake. Waitress raised her voice and insisted we added it on, which we did not. After standing our ground that we did not, she scowled, but backed off, without apology. Waitress wearing slippers, face looks like she didnt want to be there. Pretty sure won't come back to this restaurant for some time
Food was soso. Rib eye medium well was like medium. There are better one around the area. No seasoning on the vegetables, and we're told it will serve with 2 sauce end up with one and other was not available. Not sure why put up not updated menu also when Mediterranean menu was not available.
I feel it is more focus on their king crab menu now adays.
Still there are good point like service and price point with discount.
I had an outstanding dining experience at this restaurant! The freshness of the fish showcased the culinary excellence. Although I missed trying the crab this time, the prospect of a return visit excites me. The picturesque view of Marina Bay Sands and passing boats created a serene ambiance. The restaurant owner's kindness and personal attention, including a free ice cream for my 4-year-old, added a warm touch to the overall delightful experience. Highly recommended for both food quality and hospitality!
Great food and service, dining by the river.
One the best river cruises i have ever had, electric boat so quiet, good tour guides
The new management has taken over the restaurant @ 74, Boat Quay . No more Est1819, name chg to The King Crab. They still served food from the old menu plus the Chinese style food . Friendly staff .. The manager said their chef & staff are still the same, most of them are Muslim . No halal certificate displayed as still in process (from the manager).
Best atmosphere, best food at reasonable prices. Dine by the river while enjoying Singapore'skyline.
